Lance Studio works in your Shopify admin as a least-privilege collaborator. You keep approval control and can remove access when the project ends.
- Send the store URLProvide your xxx.myshopify.com domain and four-digit collaborator access code.
- Request least permissionsLance Studio requests collaborator access from the Shopify Partner Dashboard and selects only the permissions needed for this work.
- You approve in ShopifyYou see the collaborator request in Shopify admin. Once approved, daily work is completed through collaborator permissions.
Your password is not needed
Do not share the owner password, 2FA code, API secrets, payment details or customer exports.
Least privilege and removable access
Only the permissions required for the project are requested. You can remove collaborator access as soon as the work ends.
Actions that affect customers or money
Publishing, discounts, prices, inventory, paid Apps, orders, customers and financial actions still need your explicit approval.
